Welcome to the website of Chris George. I've been in the
video games industry since September of 1993. This site serves as my
home base; housing my portfolio, current projects, and
anything else industry-related I can think of. I'll
occasionally throw an article or two on here, and hopefully
this site will end up being a great resource for game
artists and aspiring artists.

I was interviewed by Sega-16, a site dedicated to the
Sega Genesis! There's a little about my start in the
industry and some info on how games were made back in 1994.
Check it out!

We've finished up Guitar Hero III and it ROCKS! It hits
store shelves at the end of October. Once again the guys
here at Neversoft impressed me with how quickly and
efficiently they created a high-quality game. Fans of the
Guitar Hero series don't need to worry if we got it right or
not, because we REALLY got it right. Stay tuned for GH3
character art of mine, which I'll upload once I get the ok
from Activision.

Some work from Tony Hawk's Project 8 has made it to the
3D
page.

I started up a section dedicated to my personal 3D art. It's
pretty small at the moment, but as I find more time to work
on models at home, I plan to add to this section.
3D
page.

We shipped Tony Hawk's Project 8 a month back, and it hits
shelves TODAY!! Check it out. I feel this is the strongest
Hawk game in years. Nail the Trick is such a cool mechanic.
I'll post some art I made for the game after the marketing
blitz for the game is done. Probably early next year.

I added 3 movies of environments I created for MTX:Mototrax
to the
3D
page.

5-07-06
I added 3 new characters from GUN to the
3D
page. Hoodoo Brown, Hollister, and Ned White. More
characters will be trickling onto that page soon. I'm trying
to set up one per day until they're all up.
I've also added a new concept work-in-progress to the 2D
page. It's for a
polycount challenge to create a "midget demon."

4-30-06
Well, the site is up! It only took me 13 years to get a
website up and running. There's very little in the way of my
art up here at the moment. Partly because I still have to go
through all of it, and partly because my old art simply
embarasses me. More content is coming, including
sprites and boss characters I made for my very first game:
The Adventures of Batman and Robin for the Sega
Genesis. Stay tuned.
